Utterly Butterly...

Yes the titles for these posts get stranger & stranger, but if you'd been in the car park last night to witness the attire of some of the team, you'd have come to the same conclusion as me. Apparently, the yellow polo shirts are the new team colours but I think we might have to resort to something a bit more sombre somehow.

The match was a slow-moving affair (a bit like mating snails...) and was the first event with a 'bonus' peg in. Capt. Tabron drew the bonus peg and promptly won the match - no sign of anything underhand, honest...

I was second off one the pegs in the wides and if I hadn't been bitten off by a big snig towards the end, I could've forced a 'roll-over' until next week. Apparently, some snigs were pulled out on Sunday, so perhaps it wasn't too surprising I was done by one.

Reginald Knowlehusband was on fine form in the car park and despite the matches being in the club book, we still managed to have people camped on the pegs when we got there - it doesn't take much thought, but even that seems too much for some.

RESULT:

1 Paul Tabron 2lb 2oz
2 Mark Rimmer 1lb 12oz
3 Paul Clegg 0lb 8oz
