We were on the match length today for the 1st round fixture against Partridge Anglers. Not a lot to say really - the result speaks for itself:
S&DAA 15pts.
Partridge Anglers 9 pts.
It fished very hard, with only five anglers breaking 2lb. The match was won by Danny Sixsmith from the end peg (H2) with some big skimmers and small roach. Second was Steve Rimmer from C2 with a 4lb Bream and a few small bits and I was third from the other end peg (A1) with a couple of skimmers around a pound and a few small roach & perch.
RESULT:
1 Danny Sixsmith (Partridge Anglers) 6lb 0oz
2 Steve Rimmer (Partridge Anglers) 4lb 12oz
3 Mark Rimmer (S&DAA) 2lb 12oz
Well done to the lads from Partridge and best of luck in the next round.
