Monday night flyer

Not much to report really - a few of us turned up, had a chuck and some of us actually caught some fish.

There was a very interesting interpretation of club rules deployed tonight. It involves turning up and fishing all day - even though you know theres a club match on and the length has to be clear by 14:00. Then - just before the start of the match, offer to move even though you know nobody is going to put your peg into the draw, therefore ensuring you can stay on; causing the match anglers to have to fish further up the length. Great forethought - good to know that people can think for themselves - and ONLY for themselves.

Just once it'd be nice for people to spare a thought for somebody else; the clue is in the name - the MATCH LENGTH.
